How to make or create a Transparent Signature or Electronic Signature Stamp for Adobe or Microsoft Word.... Note: You searched for: FromBC
What is a Transparent Signature?
It is also called an electronic signature and is a signature that can be placed in a PDF or Microsoft Word
documents and will look just like YOU signed the document manually! The
strokes of your signature will not bound by a white rectangle as you may
be using right now.
When you take a normal scan of your signature it is surrounded within a
box and the box black out everything under it. Like this...
In a transparent signature or electronic signature only the actual "pen strokes" block out what is under it. It is like you really signed it... Like this...
Also, Adobe allows you to
SIZE the signature easily! Your signature will be larger than you send
me and you can shrink it down which will make it very sharp and crisp.
I have bought houses and signed many legal documents using
my transparent GIF signature. It has saved me hours and hours of travel
to title companies and the work, expense, and slow speed of snail
mailing.
I remember the first time I saw a transparent signature and I
just had to have one. I searched all over and nobody knew how to do it
and if they did they were charging $100 to do it! I knuckled down and
figured it out myself and am now sharing it for only $30 to have your
signature AND initials done and show you how to USE your own transparent gif signature and initials!
Who needs this? Inventors, Realtors, Investors,
Attorneys, and other professionals have discovered that they can scan
their scan their signature and initials, in color or black and white,
and easily turn it into an Adobe Acrobat stamp and even use it in
Microsoft Word.
The resulting non-transparent stamp, however, has a
white background. It looks unprofessional and covers whatever is in
proximity to the final resting place of the signature or initials.
Indeed, when such a signature or initial stamp is
stamped on top of documents, the results are not visually pleasing and
will not “pass muster” as a legally signed document. I have signed MANY
legal documents I have been e-mailed to me and inserted my signature
using the methods I discuss here.
As a visual example below we see we have a blank legal document as
well as one “signed” using a graphic image most folks use and another
using a transparent graphic image. We see that John Hancock has signed
two legal document for a VISA Credit Card… Guess which one will be
accepted and looks nicer??? The TRANSPARENT SIGNATURE, of course!
To be able to use a transparent signature stamp in Adobe
Acrobat, you must first create a GIF file with a transparent attribute
or a transparent Photoshop PDF file. In order to do this you must have
Adobe Photoshop, which costs about $700. Then you have to configure the
crazy program and then learn how to use it. Sound hard? Let me do that
part for you... Order now..

Make sure your signature has letters that are at least 1/2" high
and use a good quality felt tip market to create a strong signature. Do
the same with your initials. Do them on a very clean sheet of white
paper and scan to JPG or PNG format. For the VERY BEST signature use a SHARPIE FINE POINT (ITEM 13601 FINE POINT) go to www.sharpie.com
Do not use TIFF as this format drops out a lot of the quality Some
folks prefer BLUE signatures as some legal documents ONLY allow "blue
ink" so if you are in that category be sure to get a GOOD blue felt tip
marker or a very good blue pen. . I use blue for all my official legal
work. You will be e-mailing the images to dave.korpi@gmail.com to get
the work done.
For $30 you will get GIF versions of your signature and initials. John Hancock will get these: JohnHancock.gif and JH.gif
When you click this Order Now button you will be brought to the our Take 5, Inc. shopping cart.
Transparent Formats, Transparent Signatures, Transparent GIF's, and Transparency
Only
certain graphic file formats offer transparency as an option. The most
commonly used graphic file format is the GIF file format.
Note
that some scanning software programs can produce a GIF but none, to
date, can adequately remove the white background to produce a visually
pleasing transparency. This means that if you have a GIF file doesn't’t
automatically mean it has the transparency you need for transparently
signing your documents!
You will need to use
Adobe Photoshop to remove the background in order to produce the
transparent signature you require. In order to do this Adobe Photoshop
provides a feature that can be used to remove contrasting colors, which
is why your signature must be firm and clear. When the wand selects the
elements you can choose what to remove. In our case we remove the
“background” that is usually white, leaving the black or blue signature.
How to use Adobe Photoshop to delete the white Background
Adobe Photoshop provides tools to remove backgrounds. In Photoshop,
the Magic Wand tool may be used to remove backgrounds. After removing
the background, choose Save As and save the file as a Photoshop PDF
which preserves transparency. You can also Save As a GIF, which I prefer
as it cooperates with Microsoft Word.
How to add a Stamp to Adobe Acrobat
Launch Acrobat and choose View—>Toolbars—>Commenting
On the Commenting palette, click on the arrow next to the Stamp button.
Choose Create Custom Stamp and click the browse button to find the PDF stamp you created.
Create a new category for the stamp (or use an existing one) and give it a name. Click the OK button.
